By visiting the ABC Chefs Academy website, registering for a class, booking an event, or purchasing items from the online store, I (the “client”) acknowledge that I have carefully read, understand, and accept the terms and conditions of this notice.

Acknowledgement of Risk & Waiver of Liability

I (the “client”) acknowledge and agree that: (i) I have the right and ability to waive all rights and legal claims against ABC Chefs Cooking Academy LLC (ABC) and their affiliates on behalf of the participating and booking client, (ii) I am aware that the facilities and services offered by ABC (collectively, the “Cooking Services”) involve risks of injury and illness including but not limited to cuts, falls, burns, allergic reactions and other risks associated with preparing and consuming food and I assume all risks associated therewith, (iii) In the event of emergency, I give my consent to ABC to provide medical care and give authority to any emergency personnel to render immediate aid, and (iv) On behalf of myself and my heirs I hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless ABC and its affiliates, employees, members, contractors, successors and assigns from any and all injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, claims, liabilities, expenses or judgments, including attorney’s fees and court costs arising out of or relating to the “Cooking Services”.

This Agreement shall be treated as though it were executed and performed in the State of Missouri and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri (without regard to conflict of law principles). Should a dispute arise concerning the terms and conditions of this Agreement or the breach of same, the maximum liability of ABC Chefs and the covered parties to client or to any third-party, in the aggregate, under any and all circumstances will be equal to any fees that the client have paid to ABC Chefs for the service. The parties agree to submit their dispute for resolution by arbitration before the American Arbitration Association. Any award rendered shall be final and conclusive to the parties.

Cancellation Policy

Workshops & Camps: We plan our week around your upcoming arrival so no refunds are offered for ABC Chefs Cooking Academies workshops or camps. Transfers can be made via email at least 3 days prior. If it’s a last minute cancel, invite a friend to attend in your place.

Parties & Events: We reserve our kitchen just for you so all payments are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, that is acceptable.

Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, ABC CHEFS has the right to issue a full refund.

Enrollment Policy

The highest priority of ABC Chefs Cooking Academy is the safety and well-being of students and staff. From time-to-time there may be situations or circumstances which, in the opinion of the Manager, are not safe nor are they suitable for the well-being of the students and staff. Therefore, ABC Chefs Cooking Academy reserves the right to make decisions about enrollment and participation in classes and programs. If my child is asked to leave the program, I will received a prorated refund.

Photography & Mulit-Media Policy

I agree that photographs and videos taken by ABC Chefs Cooking Academy agents during events are the property and exclusive copyright of ABC Chefs Cooking Academy and can be used for publicity purposes. I agree and that no compensation will be given for the use of this media. If I do not wish photographs or videos of my child to be taken, I will notify the office in writing prior to the event.

Privacy Policy

ABC Chefs Cooking Academy values its customers and respects their privacy. We collect customer information in an effort to communicate with you about upcoming events, workshops, news, contests and promotions. We do not sell, rent or give your name, address or any other personal information to anyone.
